4th November 2026
There are plenty of ways to become part of Southbourne beyond visiting the beach or browsing the Grove. We can join a choir, return to a sport, learn a craft or spend a few hours helping care for a local nature reserve.
Some activities offer a relaxed introduction with a single session. Others involve membership, regular rehearsals or working towards new skills. Whether we are new to the area or simply ready to try something different, there is a broad range to explore.
This guide complements our Clubs & Associations directory, bringing activities together by interest.
Information checked: 4 November 2026. Meeting times, fees and spaces can change. Contact the organiser before your first visit, and check holiday arrangements. A missing published price does not mean an activity is free.

One regular activity can be enough to turn familiar faces into friends - and give us a new reason to enjoy living in Southbourne.
